Our room was nicely decorated with flower petals for our anniversary, which was a lovely touch; it had a modern design and the location was fantastic for sightseeing and close to a bus stop.

The front desk staff was lovely. Upon check-in, the gentleman spent 15 minutes showing me the ins and outs of Venice. He recommended out of the way restaurants that aren't usually visited by tourists (the food was superb) and kindly answered my questions and then he carried my luggage upstairs for me as there isn't a lift. Breakfast was wonderful...croissants, yogurts, cappuccino. The room was small but immaculate and the private bath was wonderful. My last day, I left my luggage at the hotel and was able to come and go during that day. The evening clerk even shared his pizza with me along with fascinating conversation. highly recommended!

We arrived early morning by train and left late at night. The staff allowed us to leave our luggage before and after checkout. The hotel is right on a canal. I enjoyed watching the boats in the canal from our window. Also, it was only about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The area of the hotel is nice with lots of shops and restaurants. The room was basic but clean and funcitonal. Breakfast was simple with breads, yogurts, juice, coffee and tea. I was quite satisfied with the value of the hotel.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They pointed out good and reasonably priced restaurants and tours. The hotel is a typical European 3 star hotel, no frills, but clean.

Travelling alone, I have never felt so uncomfortable as my second night at Hotel Eden. I came back to my room at 11pm to find that all of my belongings had been taken from the room and moved to another room with no warning and without my permission. When I complained to the manager in the morning (the night reception referred me to him), he essentially laughed in my face telling me to deal with it or I could leave. I've never experienced such a violation of privacy! Do NOT stay here if you value your belongings or your privacy!

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was adequate and functional for a city break. The hotel is in a great location, not too far from the train station or the bus/coach stops in Roma Square and all the points of interest are within 15-20 min walk.
Rooms are a little basic and in need of a spruce-up and the breakfast was not much to write home about but we didn’t spend time in the hotel, so it wasn’t too much of an issue - get what you pay for!
